This was one of those mornings that I walked away feeling like I’m doing just the thing I want to be doing as a motherhood photographer. Focusing on the stories you tell and time as it unfolds. I met these two for a quiet morning in San Juan Capistrano. All our time felt relaxed and carefree and just so slow in the most beautiful way. It’s such an honor to photograph mothers and their children. Seeing them love their children that they pour so much of their hearts into. I get to give mothers a time stamp of their days that will never come again. Just give them time to pause and be present and delight in their children. I feel like my place is to document all the feelings and stories in front of me. As a mother the times I can just be with my children without distractions feel so sacred and giving mothers to have space to do that is always an intention of mine.

It really is the thing I’ve set out to do as a motherhood photographer. Gift mothers with time to be seen and supported and space to be fully there. Making images that hold the evidence of their love is such a beautiful part of it. These portraits will speak to you and your children about your story. But there is some magic in having someone witness you in your most important work. Especially these liminal days of pregnancy and when your children are young where it changes so fast you can hardly keep up. It’s always nice to have someone hold space for you to give all the beauty of it some attention. If you want to see new work and keep updated on life and other offerings check out my Instagram. Thank you for being here and inspiring me with how you love your people.
