Orange County Maternity Photographer | Ellie’s Motherhood Portraits
This year I’m pouring my heart into embracing the beauty of imperfections. Getting to the real feelings of the perfectly imperfect people behind my camera and the connections between them. Something I want more for my clients is to create space for them to just sit with themselves and their children and just be and create art with me. Holding space for them to relax into their true selves.
One of the highlights of the last few years has been photographing the timeless beauty of motherhood in every stage. Being somewhere in nature, photographing a mama that is waiting to meet her new little love. Seeing women step into new motherhood and all the facets on themselves that come from that. I remember how slow those days felt but really the memories fade so quickly now that I have older kids I really do feel the importance of time stamping those fleeting days of pregnancy. Being outside, making portraits for a mother and showing her how beautiful she is. It feels like such a gorgeous way to honor a woman’s motherhood and welcome this new life.

My books are open for 2024 and beyond. I have New York, San Francisco and LA shoots booked for this year as well as San Louis Obispo photography sessions.
